What is Future Flux?
Future Flux: 366 Days of AIllusions by C. Pinto is an ambitious year-long project I embarked on starting January 1st 2024, to mark this leap year and celebrate my third year fully immersed in the world of AI art.
Over 366 days, I create a daily AI-generated animation using various tools, blending classic trance and EDM music with the visuals. Each piece is accompanied by a Haiku poem inspired by the animation or song, and given a Latin title.
This multifaceted project is a fusion of different workflows, bringing together elements from the past and present. It revives ancient languages and blends them with modern aesthetics, creating a unique, daily work of art. After all, we are all star dust, and the cycle of creation always repeats.
Can I share your AI animations on my social media platforms?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to share and even remix my AI animations on your social media accounts. Just be sure to tag and mention me at @flisbonwlove so I can see and support your post.

Can you teach me?
While we’re still in the early stages of the AI artwork revolution, the landscape has evolved significantly since its inception. Initially, resources were scarce, with most knowledge being shared through word of mouth and a few pioneering coders/artists helping with some pages like Pharmapsychotic’s AI Art Tools List. Today, however, there are a multitude of resources at your disposal.
You can explore a wide range of workflows on platforms like OpenArt, Comfy Workflows, eSheep, Civitai and others. Additionally, there are numerous excellent YouTube channels led by knowledgeable instructors who can guide you in developing your own style, including Purz, jboogx.creative / Civitai, Olivio Sarikas, Matteo Spinelli, Enigmatic E, ImpactFrames, Nerdy Rodent, Dr. Furkan Gözükara, Mohamed Mehrez, Sebastian Kamph among many others on Youtube.
There are also a myriad of great Discord channels with fabulous and visionary people who can support you in your creative process. One I highly recommend is Banodoco.
With all these resources, you have everything you need to learn, grow, and craft your unique artistic style.
Do you recommend any paid services?
If you’re short on time and looking for fast-paced solutions to bring your creative visions to life, I highly recommend my friends at Luma AI Dream Machine for creating amazing animations and transitions. For generating images, Leonardo.AI is a must-try, and for resources, our top community at Civitai is essential, especially if you’re interested in simple LoRa training. Also if you don’t have a powerful GPU and want to run Flux at its full potential, check out Runpod, they’ve got the GPU power you need.
Can you share my animation?
I try to share as much as I can, but sometimes I need to slow down because the algorithm doesn’t favor too much activity. Still, I’ve been sharing a lot from the beginning until now. That said, I only share content I truly like —it has to be impactful or technologically innovative. You’re welcome to send me your art, and if I like it, I’ll definitely share it and tag you. I receive a lot of requests, so please be patient as it may take some time to go through them all.
Why you use so much colors?
I draw inspiration from the vibrant and intricate thangka paintings found in Everest Buddhist Temples. These Tibetan Buddhist artworks are rich in symbolism and use an incredible array of colors to convey spiritual narratives. When I first saw them in the Everest mountains, I was deeply moved by their vivid beauty and complexity, which continues to influence my artistic approach today.
Why do you use so many women as the main subject?
They symbolize the power of creation and the birth of new life. Their presence in my artwork represents strength, beauty, and the profound capacity for renewal and transformation. Women embody a range of emotions and narratives that allow me to explore themes of empowerment and spiritual growth.
What are your rig specs?
My setup is driven by a reliable old school Intel i7 9700K, paired with 32GB of DDR4 RAM and an ASUS DUAL NVIDIA RTX 4070 OC with 12GB of VRAM. I also have plenty of M.2 SSDs for storage. 12GB VRAM gang FTW 👊👽🤙
How long does it take to create the animations?
A 16-19 second loop typically takes about 35 minutes to 45 minutes to process using ComfyUI/AnimateDiff. After that, an additional 10 to 15 minutes is spent on video editing. Beyond that, it’s the result of 2-3 years of constant tweaking—adjusting numbers, sliders, and mathematical equations to fine-tune the process in ComfyUI. 👽👌
What do 'AI Novel' and 'AI Redux' mean in the titles?
I use the term “AI Novel” to describe artwork that is entirely generated by AI, with no external input. “AI Redux,” on the other hand, refers to pieces that incorporate video input based on real-life footage, blending AI-generated elements with real-world sources.
